Between concerts in Paris and Prague as part of her phenomenal 2024-2025 Radical Optimism world tour, Dua Lipa paid a visit to Monte Carlo ahead of this year’s Monaco Grand Prix to unveil a unique 911 GT3 RS. As part of her ongoing collaboration with Porsche, the three-time Grammy Award-winning artist helped configure this special edition of the 992-generation, track-focused halo car, which RM Sotheby’s is delighted to offer for auction.

Ideally suited to the Mediterranean setting where it made its world debut, the 911’s bright livery—predominantly made up of turquoise and featuring red, gold, and dark green swirls—is the perfect reflection of the vibrancy that typifies Dua Lipa’s stage design and performances. Dua Lipa experienced this very GT3 RS around the principality streets in May before immersing herself in the paddock of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, which races on the Formula 1 support bill.

This highly specified 911 GT3 RS was completed on 28 February 2024, originally finished with Artic Grey paintwork over a Black leather and Race-Tex-trimmed interior featuring Guards Red stitching. Optioned with the desirable Weissach Package, named after Porsche’s test and development circuit, this car employs additional lightweight construction features such as magnesium wheels (painted here in Satin Pyro Red) and carbon fibre-reinforced drivetrain components to save 22 kilograms over the regular GT3 RS with optional Clubsport package. Additional technical highlights include the Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes yellow-painted callipers, a front-axle lift system, and Guards Red finish for the tachometer and Chrono stopwatch.

As an example of the latest 992-generation GT3 RS, at the heart of powertrain lies a naturally aspirated 4.0-litre flat-six engine boasting an effervescent 9,000 rpm limit. Sending 525 PS to the rear wheels via a 7-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) the 911 launches to 62 mph in 3.2 seconds on its way to a top speed of 184 mph. However, it is the aerodynamic performance of the latest iteration of the revered GT3 RS bloodline that stands proud. The enormous rear wing that incorporates a Formula 1-style Drag-Reduction System, S-Duct air channel, aggressive front splitter, and rear diffuser help generate a staggering 860 kilograms of downforce at 177 mph for supreme on-track ability.

Aside from offering an incredibly special vehicle finished in a unique livery, the auction of this ‘Dua Lipa Rennstall GT3 RS’ is only made more significant given that the entire sum of the winning bid will be donated to the Sunny Hill Foundation. Created by Dua Lipa herself in 2018, the charity works tirelessly to support Kosovan communities, with a fitting focus on promoting the arts and culture. Since its inception, the Sunny Hill Foundation has, notably, funded 30 scholarships across Kosovo for young women to access quality STEM education and supported 17 cultural organizations and NGOs. Through a partnership with the OCS Institute of Arts and Innovation in Los Angeles, three young artists from Kosovo have taken part in exclusive masterclasses held in the heart of LA. Additionally, the alliance with Sweden’s prestigious Musikmakarna Academy gave nine young Kosovars the chance to attend an intensive camp dedicated to composition, songwriting and music production offering hands-on training and vital industry connections.

With global pop powerhouse Dua Lipa being core to the project, and with the proceeds raised going directly into supporting the Sunny Hill Foundation, the sale of this one-off 911 ‘Dua Lipa Rennstall GT3 RS’ is especially significant and presents a unique opportunity to collectors.
