Marking its 70th anniversary in 2017, Ferrari commissioned 70 heritage liveries via its Tailor Made programme. Each colour scheme was applied to a single example of the five models in the range at the time (the California T, 488 GTB, 488 Spider, GTC4Lusso, and F12berlinetta) to offer prized customers a limited run of 350 celebratory cars.

The second livery was known as “The Quintessential Gentlemen Driver’s Ferrari”. It paid homage to a 166 MM Berlinetta (upgraded to 195 S engine specs) with coachwork by Touring that enjoyed a major victory in the 1950 edition of the Mille Miglia. Starting the event last, Count Giannino Marzotto guided his pale blue Ferrari to the first of his two triumphs in the famed endurance road race.

Inspired by “The Flying Count”, this F12berlinetta 70th Anniversary is finished in the special shade of Brezze Blu Metallic, which elegantly partners the 20-inch forged Speedline wheels finished in Argento Nurburgring and chromed front grille. This car’s exterior is also notable for the Scuderia shields set into the front wings, carbon fibre side sills, the yellow-painted callipers for the brakes, and 70th Anniversary badging that sits ahead of the rear wheels. The interior then blends Nero and Creta leather for the Daytona-style electric seats and dashboard while the aluminium elements have also been changed to Brezze Blu Metallic.

This car’s generous specification adds Cavallino logos stitched into headrests plus a Nero leather-trimmed headliner and parcel shelf. Conveniences include the statement Ferrari passenger display screen, Apple CarPlay, a suspension lift system, dual-view parking cameras, and high-power JBL hi-fi system.

Per the accompanying Ferrari Technical Sheet from the Classiche book (Attesto per vetture con Allestimenti Speciale) that accompanied these Tailor Made 70th Anniversary models, this F12berlinetta was delivered in April 2017 via Garage Niki Hasler of Basel in Switzerland. Benefitting from single ownership as part of The Tailored For Speed Collection since new, the car displays just 2,935 kilometres on its odometer at the time of cataloguing. It is further accompanied by its Ferrari books and manuals.
