Since its 2010 introduction, the GT2 RS moniker has come to signify the most extreme roadgoing interpretation of the iconic Porsche 911.

The 991-generation GT2 RS launched in 2017 was the most powerful model in the history of the Porsche 911. Its 3.8-liter flat-six engine fed by two turbochargers sends 700 horsepower to the rear wheels via a seven-speed PDK gearbox. With its astonishing acceleration—sprinting from 0 to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds—and top speed of 211 mph, Porsche test driver Lars Kern set the production-car lap record at the Nürburgring Nordschleife on 20 September 2017 in a GT2 RS. The record-setting car was equipped with the Weissach Package, an $18,000 option whose carbon fiber roof panel, anti-roll bars, front trunk lid, and other components, along with ultra-light magnesium wheels shave around 40 pounds, bringing total curb weight to just 3,241 pounds.

Offered here is a remarkable example of the GT2 RS equipped with the ultra-desirable Weissach Package. Delivered new to Todd Blue’s renowned LAPIS Collection via Porsche of North Houston, it was extensively optioned with $252,000 of custom tailoring from Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur (option code CXX), bringing its original suggested retail price to $588,115—an astounding 101-percent premium over the base price of a standard 2019 GT2 RS. This strictly one-off vehicle from Todd Blue’s finely curated stable of pristine Porsches is the perfect representation of his curatorial focus.

The exterior is finished in paint-to-sample Albert Blue, a classic non-metallic hue originally offered to 911 buyers in the early 1970s. Notably, all of the Weissach Package’s exposed carbon fiber elements have been finished per Mr. Blue’s request in a beautiful dark blue tint, from the brilliant, contoured roof panel to the sculpted front fender louvers, eye-catching side mirrors, and massive rear wing. This GT2 RS is believed to be one of only three examples outfitted with this attractive suite of blue carbon fiber components.

Moreover, the car’s exterior features the stylish Light Design package, extremely useful front-axle lift system, and Porsche Dynamic Light System. But perhaps the most visually emphatic pièce de résistance is its set of staggered wheels custom-rendered in matching Albert Blue.

The dazzling carnival of visual delight continues into the passenger cabin, which includes nearly every available option and creature comfort. Stepping across the illuminated door sills, the driver and occupants encounter sumptuous, finely tailored Yachting Blue leather upholstery trimmed with Chalk contrast stitching and piping throughout. Every interior surface has been custom-specified with this leather-to-sample upholstery, and not even the smallest piece of ornamentation seems to have escaped the consignor’s especially fine attention to detail. Beneath the matching Yachting Blue Alcantara headliner, the dashboard is likewise finished in Yachting Blue leather trim, with the steering column, steering wheel, center console, and more than 25 additional areas similarly adorned. Meanwhile, Silver Grey seatbelts play nicely off the Graphite Madraskaro plaid seat inserts of the carbon fiber bucket seats.

The gauges and Sport Chrono Package clock all feature black dials, while a smattering of black gloss carbon fiber elements and Yachting Blue floormats ensure absolute continuity with the exterior color scheme. Driven fewer than 526 miles as of cataloguing time, this car has been regularly maintained and kept inside the climate-controlled facilities of the LAPIS Collection.

This one-of-a-kind custom-tailored 911 GT2 RS Weissach will be an absolutely spectacular acquisition for any serious Porsche collector seeking a pristine, over-the-top example exhibiting the world-class capabilities of the Porsche’s Exclusive Manufaktur department—to say nothing of the model’s undeniable, purebred performance.
