Completed by Singer Vehicle Designs in February 2023, the Four Seas Commission is a carefully considered, bespoke build reflecting its commissioning owner’s desire to reimagine this 911 with a particular focus on performance, material richness, and overall usability.

At its heart is the ‘Motorsports’ specification 4.0-litre engine. The engine itself was the result of a collaboration between Porsche Motorsports North America and Singer Vehicle Designs, which saw engines for Singer’s Classic Services built at Porsche Motorsports North America’s headquarters in Los Angeles to Singer Vehicle Design’s own specifications. These engines were all built to 4.0-litres in displacement and fitted with an improved crankshaft, a Porsche Motorsport oil pump, revised valve lash specification in an effort to improve higher stability at higher rpms with increased durability, and optimization of fan performance to make the car easier to drive during normal driving conditions. These engines are considered highly desirable as they offer the highest output in terms of horsepower and torque across the Classic Services range.

That 4.0-liter ‘Motorsports’ engine delivers power to all four wheels, managed by a six-speed manual gearbox, Öhlins adjustable suspension, and Brembo carbon ceramic brakes. At the rear is a ceramic plenum inlet and a titanium exhaust. Aesthetically, the paint to sample hue of NATO Green covering Singer Vehicle Design’s fabulous carbon bodywork (including the carbon fibre roof). Void of exterior graphics, Four Seas’ bumperettes are finished in nickel to complement the nickel engine decklid lettering, singer logo, and nickel RS wheel centers. Other noteworthy Singer Vehicle Design trademarks include the external fuel and oil fillers.

Inside, the car is trimmed in Monument Valley leather with contrasting Torre Colombara detailing in addition to Dark Ivory stitching. In keeping with its driver focused nature, the car is fitted with carbon fiber bucket seats with bespoke seats inserts, roll bar, and deletion of the rear seats. The Momo Prototipo steering wheel is trimmed in Torre Colmbara leather to match the paintwork as well as the lower interior panels, transmission tunnel, and sills, alongside Olive velour carpeting. Harkening back to Porsches of yesteryear, the gearshift knob is finished in satin mahogany wood and the car is fitted with the early 911 gauge set painted in NATO Green and Dark Ivory with orange needles. Finally, to add in its overall usability, the car is fitted with Porsche Classic Navigation system, equipped with Apple CarPlay, and an upgraded Audison amplifier with Dynaudio speakers and subwoofer. Finally, the car boasts a handful of special wishes options including the horn button, dashboard vents and defrost vent finished in satin-finish Torre Colombara, rear view camera with display fitted in the driver’s sun visor, and a dashboard trim strip finished in satin mahogany wood.

The Four Seas Commission has been treated to full bodywork paint protection film in an effort to preserve its incredible paintwork, and the car presents in virtually as-new condition both inside and out. Having only covered 250 km since completion, this presents as a rare opportunity to acquire Singer Vehicle Design’s now out-of-production Classic Services 911.
